As a spur of the moment decision Heather, Sky and I went to the Bruins on Thursday night to see them face off against the Maple Leafs. I'd never seen the Leafs live and was kind of surprised when the tickets were pretty reasonable last minute. The game was great with Boston finally playing well winning 6-2. They skated hard, made crisp passes, scored power play goals and had an edge all night. Thornton won a fight against Colton Orr early, Lucic had a monster hit on Phaneuf right in front of their bench and Chara had a great one timer from the faceoff dot for a goal. The other highlight was that Skylar was given a puck the Bruins used for warm ups after she was on the jumbo tron for the second time.
